Persimmon powder
This is a powder made from immature green persimmons harvested in Wakayama Prefecture, which boasts the highest production of persimmons in Japan, dried using far infrared rays.
"Persimmon" is the English term for the persimmon tree. The immature "green persimmons" are harvested in late July. Due to their very strong astringency, they cannot be eaten directly.
